Christina Fontana Entrepreneurship Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2021 and shall provide two annual scholarships of $1,000 each, to academically qualified and/or deserving doctoral student(s) in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Annual awards from the Scholarship Fund may increase based upon the funding available. Annual expenditures are made in accordance with standard University policies and procedures. Ideal candidate(s) for this scholarship will display compassion, empathy, integrity, and innovative thinking to improve the welfare of patients. The recipient(s) of the Scholarship shall be selected by the University’s Office of Student Financial Services or its successor in consultation with the Dean of the College of Pharmacy or his/her designee. The criteria used in determining the recipients shall be based upon enrollment status of a 5th or 6th year student, with a GPA of 3.0 or greater. Preference is for the recipient to be a female student.
