ACORD Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship Fund shall provide one or more partial annual scholarships to academically qualified and deserving undergraduate student(s) in the Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science (GSRM). It is the intent of the Grantor that annual awards thereafter be made in honor of sponsors of ACORD’s annual event, purposed to raise support for student scholarships. In years where an honoree is identified, a representative of ACORD Corporation will inform an GSRM administrator of the named sponsor for the scholarship award. The recipient(s) of the Scholarships shall be selected by the University’s Office of Student Financial Services or its successor in collaboration with the administrative leadership and Dean of GSRM or its successor. The criteria used in determining the recipients shall be based upon financial need with preference given to students who identify as members of historically underrepresented groups.
