The Scharfenberger Family Partners for Student Success Scholarship Fund

This fund was established in 2008 and amended in 2011 by Joseph M. Scharfenberger, Sr. The recipient(s) of the Scholarships shall be selected by the University?s Office of Student Financial Services or its successor. The criteria used in determining the recipients shall be based upon need and/or academic achievement. The recipient(s) will be known as the Scharfenberger Scholar(s) and will embody a high intellectual spirit and personal dedication to family, work and community. The scholarship should be awarded to an incoming freshman and would be renewable annually if the recipient continues to meet the criteria. If he/she is not eligible in any given year the scholarship will be awarded to the next eligible candidate.
