Mario Gabelli Endowed Chair

This fund was established in 2025 to provide support accounting faculty member(s) in The Peter J. Tobin College of Business. The Chair shall also provide supplemental support for course reductions, travel expenses, enhance resources for teaching research, graduate assistantship or fellowships and/or any costs related to the Chair. The recipient(s) of the Chair shall be based upon recommendations of the Dean of the Tobin College of Business and approved by the University Provost. The criteria used in determining the recipients shall be based upon research and/or publications in investing or accounting. The recipient shall be eligible for reappointment every three years based upon a combination of scholarship productivity and teaching performance. The University will provide annual reports to the Grantor (and/or designee) accounting for the Chair and the endowment performance. Annual expenditures will be made in accordance with standard University policies and procedures.
