Edward J. Miranda and Kathleen Miranda Endowed Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was established in 2026 by Dr. Kathleen Miranda to provide one or more partial annual scholarships to academically qualified and/or deserving fifth year graduate students of the St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The recipient(s) of the Scholarship Fund shall be selected by the University’s Office of Student Financial Services or its successor. The criteria used in determining the recipients shall be based upon academic merit, and enrollement in the five-year Master’s Program in Mathematics, or Computing and Machine learning, or Biostatistics or Computational Biology or their equivalent. Recipients must be continuing students who have received their undergraduate degree from St. John’s University. This Scholarship is renewable for five years in accordance with University policies and procedures.
