Dr. Charles Traina Memorial Scholarship Fund

This scholarship fund was established in 2025 to provide one or more partial annual scholarships to academically qualified and/or deserving students majoring in mathematics or a devoted interest in mathematics and its uses or employed a scholarly approach to mathematical studies exhibited growth and mathematical maturity. The recipient shall be selected by the University’s Office of Student Financial Services or its successor in collaboration with the Dean of St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The criteria used to determine recipients shall be based upon recommendations from the Chair and/or Faculty of the Department of Mathematics. This fund will be awarded once the minimum funding level of $10,000 is met.
