Frank Dellafera Scholarship to provide undergraduate student(s) who are the children of active police officers, or, the child of an active police officer killed in the line of duty. First preference will be given to applicants of officers employed by the Nassau County Police Department. Annual awards will be in the amount of $5,000.00 or more (based upon funding available from income allocated for awards). Recipients selected by the University’s Office of Student Financial Services or its successor. The criteria used in determining the recipients shall be based on applications with supporting documents (Notification Letter Submitted By The Nassau County Police Reserves) relating to the award criteria.
