Nickolas Davatzes Scholarship and Research Grant Fund
This fund was established in 2007 and amended in 2010 by alumni Nickolas Davatzes. This fund is to provide a scholarship and/or research grant to an academically qualified full-time student in the St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. At the time of the award, the student must be a Doctor of Arts, Masters Degree, or Ph.D. candidate with a concentration in History. The recipient also must be committed to teaching and engaging in research in American History or Classical and/or Modern Greek History. Students are selected based upon recommendations made by the History Department and reviewed by the Davatzes family.
