The St. John's University Semper Fi Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was established in 2017 to provide one or more partial scholarships in the amount of $4,000 to $5,000 to support students who intend to serve in the United States Marine Corp (USMA) upon graduation. Students must be a sophomore, junior, or senior and enrolled in the USMC Platoon Leaders Program; completed at least one Marine Platoon Leader Course (PLC) summer program and who is committed to accepting a commission in the USMC upon graduation from the University. In the event there is no eligible PLC student, the award may go to a child of an active duty Marine or active (Class 2) Marine Reservist provided the student is not receiving the GI Bill. Recipients must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
