Staten Island Heritage Endowment Fund

The St. John’s University Staten Island campus was established in 1971. It was home to the former Notre Dame College of Staten Island, a small independent college for women established in the 1930’s that consolidated with St. John’s University in 1970, located at 300 Howard Avenue, Staten Island, New York. In August 2022, the University announced the phasing out of academic operations at the St. John’s University’s Staten Island campus. To honor the rich 50-year legacy of St. John’s presence on Staten Island, the University has established the St. John’s University Staten Island Heritage Endowment Fund. This Fund shall provide financial assistance to future Staten Island students with financial need who study at St. John’s Queens campus, beginning Fall of 2024.
