Senior Class Emergency Scholarship Fund

Office of Alumni Relations has embarked on a fundraising initiative to establish the endowed Senior Class Emergency Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund shall provide one or more partial annual scholarships to academically qualified undergraduate or graduate students of St. John’s who are experiencing financial hardship and require additional support in order to complete their final semester and graduate from their degree program. The fund will be eligible for award beginning in the first full University fiscal year after the minimum funding level of $50,000 has been reached. If for any reason the minimum funding level is not reached on or before June 1, 2027, the University will be under no further obligation to treat the Scholarship Fund as endowed and may thereafter expend the Scholarship Fund in whole or in part according to the specified purpose described in this memo. Award recipients shall be selected by the University’s Office of Student Financial Services or its successor based upon demonstrated appeal for financial assistance.
