Maya Babayev Mitzvah Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship Fund was established in 2023 and amended in 2024 to provide one or more partial annual scholarships academically qualified and or deserving undergraduate students who are members of the St. John’s Jewish Student Association Club, with first preference given to a student majoring in pharmacy. The recipient of the scholarship shall be selected by the University’s Office of Student Financial Services in consultation with the Assistant Dean of Student Life or his/her designee or its successor. If there are no qualified candidates in a given year, the scholarship may be awarded to an undergraduate student majoring in pharmacy who demonstrates academic success, community service and leadership.
